Year of Horse Poem

Wild Horse Flings Its Mane

 Celestial dark horse
            turned only
            a flick of
            its mane

In the blazing light
            its path
            remained
            true,

Only its body
            turned white
            the moon

Like a flying dragon
            of the
            transcendent
            world...

Galloping through
            silken cloud
            skies...

I never know where
            they will
            lead me...

I simply follow
            my inspiration
            and the
            movement

Soars through...
            there are no
            obstacles

That cannot be
            overcome

Strength of love
            yields
            through,

And although the
            arrow’s power
            is true,

My admiration for
            its gift of
            courage
            grows.
